Does anyone know of some good hammering and pull off exercise (not too crazy) to help me with that aspect? Plus any advice would help (espically on pull offs).

well, no one has answered so i guess ill make it more specific. In 'fade to black' there is a part that goes;

-------------------------------------
-------------------------------------
-------------------------------------
-------------------------------------
----7-8/10-8-10-12-8-10--12p-10p-8/7-
-------------------------------------

well what im getting at is the 12 fret pull off to ten is simple but i can not double pull off from ten to eight because the sound disapates to much....can anyone help and offer advice plz?

Sounds like you just need to practice, try this on any string, fret the 8th fret with your index, 10th fret w/middle, 12 fret with the pinky, pick the 12th,po10,po8, do that over and over, concentrating on making that 8th fret note as loud as the 10th fret note, when you can do that say on the 1st string, start moving it across the strings, you could make a whole set of exercises out of this, like this,

--12 po-10-po-8s7s8-h10-h12-po-10--po--8--xxxx-----------
or

-12-p8-h10-h12-p10-p8-h12-p8-h10-h12--p8--h13-p10-h12-h13-

etc, etc just keep working on it and sooner than you think it'll be automatic..........

Pinch the high e and d of dsus and then pull your pinky off. I also recomend the sublime solo from "what i got" a good tabbed version of that is on this site in the reggae section. That solo has bends and hammers, and i'm sure you could improvise some pull offs into it.
