I am lost

If I want to spend between $500 to $600 on a new electric guitar (tremolo bar not necessary) what are 3 options

I am so confused by all I have seen online that I cant decide anymore

P.S.

I have decided on a blackstar amp

To answer meaningfully, I have three questions.

Hand size? Neck profile, fingerboard radius, nut width, string spacing, scale length are all more critical the smaller your hands and length of your fingers and arms are. You wouldn't run or ride a marathon in a poorly fitting pair of shoes or incorrectly sized bike. Guitars are no different.

Current level of accomplishment?

i.e. in order to choose an easy to keep in tune, maintain and friendly to play guitar which will facilitate confidence and progress or one which might better take advantage of existing skills if already accomplished with acoustic or classical.

What genre of music do you play/aspire to play?

i.e. Metal, Blues, Country, Pop, Classic rock, Folk rock

Your budget will buy you something decent if you choose quality specifications over brand prestige.

Edit: P.S. Which Blackstar amp have you chosen? I have two Blackstar amps (of four).

With that budget you can get some good stuff.

Like manXcat says, it is somehow important what kind of music you are going to play.

You can't go wrong with Squier or Epiphone.

A Squier Stratocaster is a pretty versatile instrument. Same goes for Epihone Les Paul instruments.

Go to a decent guitar shop and try some instruments. Helps as well.

I would suggest going to a guitar shop and just noodle around.

Do not tell the staff your budget, just see what you like,

A style say Les Paul/ Strat will fit or seem better, then see what is on offer.
