I think what i meant was, a song can sound completely different or even like en entirely different song, simply by changing the strumming pattern. So how do you learn the strumming pattern for a particular song? Is this a really stupid question? It could be. I haven't decided yet. I chose the gambler by kenny rogers because i thought it would be an easy song to learn since the chords are G, C, and D i believe. Plus it's a good camp fire song cause usually everybody knows the words, haha.
