Hi, everyone.

I'm having troubles getting the concept of time signature in my brain. Now, theoritically, I know what it means. 4/4 means each bar has 4 quarter notes in it, 3/2 means each bar has 3 half notes in it and so on.

Top number means how many beats per bar, which is fine. My problem is with the bottom number; I mean yes on paper I get it, but it still confuses me. Like I can't get it into my head or count it. Top number is fine, I can get it how it is counted and all, and I can hear it in my head, but the bottom number that I cannot. I cannot fully understand the timing of the note.
