Hello

I'm new to this site and I'm enjoying what it has to offer. I'm a bass player, but I want to learn how to jam guitar. I'm starting from the very beginning of core 1 just so I can learn as much as possible and not overlook anything. My main goal is to learn how to play lead guitar. Hopefully this site can give me the tools I need to accomplish something awesome like that.

Thanks for the welcome, Joe! I hear what you're saying about being patient. The only way to get better is to practice constantly, slowly and accurately in order to build up my chops. If I do have questions I will most certainly get on here and ask. Thanks again!

Joe is correct, patience is key here. When I first started playing guitar, I felt really discouraged when I went into a guitar shop and heard all the other people play. They were so good! You have to keep your head up, and keep trying and play the songs you want to learn. If you try learning the songs that you're interested in, that is usually the best way to learn, at least that's how it was for me.
