Thanks for the heads up on arpeggiating. I got it now by slowing it down and 98% of the time it works. I miss now and then but for the campfire next summer, that works. I have a question on Folsom Prison Blues. I have an electric and also the Yamaha FGX 800 C I just bought. Is it possible to combine the intro lick, and the solo licks within Folson Prison on an acoustic? I tried it on the electric and it works. I know now that I will need to practice slow to get the strumming down and it might take me a few days or maybe a week to get this song mastered. Thanks

Excellent news on the arpeggiating!

Yes you can adapt any of the electric parts over to the acoustic. You might find it more difficult to play some of the electric parts depending on the part, so you might want to tweak the parts to make them more suitable for the acoustic.

For example, the first lick in the solo over the E chord -- I would incorporate that lick an octave lower while you're strumming on the E chord. Just add those notes on the G and B string into the open E shape and adjust your strum to get the phrasing on the lick right.

Make sense?

OK Thanks Mike. I am using the intro lick, then chords and then slide into the solo lick between verses. It works. Now its just a matter of practice to get it up to speed. Thanks
