Having previously been a Full Member I have always had Ultimate Chord Finder on my PC which I often used in Windows 8.

I have just tried to run it in Windows 10 and Norton summarily removed it from my system saying it was a danger to my system. It's gone!!

Has anyone else had this happen to them? Can a tech tell me if it's a known problem?

As I am not a Full Member at the moment it is a real pain to lose such a useful tool.

I hope someone can help, thanks.

Is there a member of staff on the site who can say this is a a known issue? Or is it a problem only for me?

Thanks

I am not staff, but it works fine in window 10 for me...
. I didn't know that you could access the tools with out being a full member.
Thngs may have changed.. It's been a long time since I was not afull member..
You might check to see what else you can't access. Like the "Full Access Subscriber Forum " or "Ask a Guitar Tech"

We used to have a downloadable version of the tools that would run as an exe in Windows. We no longer supply those. It sounds like j_r_gibson has the old exe.

It sounds Norton is just being over-cautious deleting it.

j_r_gibson, you should switch to the online version, which we decided to make free to non-subscribers:

Have fun,

Thank you very much Jon for that very helpful answer!

Yeah Norton was being over zealous and a bit of a pain...

Being able to use the free online version is brilliant so thanks for that ZZSmilieZZ

And thanks for your suggestion compart1

Best regards
