Only been playing about three months now, but plan on going out and doing some bar gigs in the next 6 months. I currently own a Keith Urban Night Star electric and the little practice amp that came with it. Within the next year, I plan on purchasing the Epi Les Paul Standard Plus Pro or if I can save up enough the Gibson Les Paul 50's tribute. What is a good amp that I can buy? Limited to in the area of 500.00 at the most. Willing to go look at pawn shops etc. Guitar Center had a Fender Champ XD, a Mustang IV V2, and an FM 210R. I think I'm going with Fender for the amp, but which one. Ya'll can all chime in. Thanks

If you are not in a hurry , try the pawn shops , you can get some good gear at low prices . I got my my Egaater rebel 30 head for $600 Australian and they are worth 2 1/2 times that over here . Not a mark on it , no hisses or buzzes . Plugged it into an old Behringer speaker box until a MESA 1X 12 came up at the same shop for $400 ( normally $1100 here ) So take your time and best of luck

I would go with the Fender mustangs.

Check out a YouTube channel called "In the blues" he's done loads of patches for the mustang that you can download to your own amp.
Strat > tubescreamer > Drri

Any love here for the Fender Champion 40?
I'm thinking about dumping my Line 6 Spider IV 15.
