Hey Everybody,

I wanted to hear from others who moved up to the whole year subscription and got the free nylon string acoustic.

My modest expectations were more than met by this guitar. I'm working on learning electric guitar, so it has been nice to grab a guitar and play on the patio or play when even "silent" isn't silent enough.

Does anyone know what kind of strings I should use to replace these, and how the heck you go about replacing them? I was just starting to feel proficient at stringing my Strat copy.

I've enjoyed having a second guitar to mess around with.

Thanks,
David

I haven't attempted string mine and it's over due.. basically it just wrapping the bitter end under and than around on the wound strings and wrap three times with the nylon strings around it's self..
Just get strings for nylon guitar.. I have looked in Juststrings.com but too many to choose from.. I would just get a inexpensive set first time around..

Do nylon strings come in gauges? What size does it need? I know I'll be looking at YouTube.

You'd definitely want nylon strings, but the gauge you choose is just a matter of preference. Glad the guitar is working out for you!

I too am enjoying the Huntington nylon string guitar! It's a nice change from my steel sting acoustic with a totally different sound. Nice sound for an inexpensive guitar and easy on the finger tips!

Yes, but mostly they're categorized by tension. Low, normal or standard, or high tension. I recommend normal for most purposes.
