Training your mind-set for song writing

During the process of song writing for my first album, I found that I was picky enough to make sure that my album is not boring,has at least two or three hook songs,covers more then one kind of my style of music.
I my opinion-those are the factors that make for a decent first album.
Get yourself out of the song,picture you watching your self play and sing your song as a separate human being( the audience) and ask your other self if you want to hum the tune as you hear it again and again.

Write with a melody in mind. Don't over-think it. Use play-on -words.
Try not be very very detailed and obvious with your lyrics.

I think when thinking to compose songs, we need to have our own opinions. I know we still need to satisfy the tastes of our listeners, however, it's the individual differences that make the unique song.

Actually, this problem is quite understandable when composing a song does not need talent, but also requires a mental block. You can build it on sentences from data coming from the books you read. Or it can be improvisation, but words need to be elaborated and rich to best convey emotions

It's normal to be picky because everyone wants the perfect album, but the reality is a brutal slap in the face, so it's vital to play to your inspirations, create the music you love, do the things you love, hum the songs you love, and adjust your mindset!
