In the past few days the lessons on the media player have been extremely slow. To the point where the video just hangs up. Please advise on possible solutions.

I'm having the same issues. Checked my ISP and everything is fine. Down speeds are 20-22 mbps.

IF the video loads at all it will hang up after a few seconds.

Hey guys,

We got a report of some slowness late last week from the video delivery team we work with, but they told us that it should be back to normal now.

Let us know if that's not the case?

Hi,
It is better than before. But I am still experiencing very frequent video hang ups. It does not seem to be fixed yet.
regards,
Robert

Actually, I am sorry to say it is not getting better. I am still experiencing the same problems. Videos have become impossible to watch. I am beginning to wonder weather the website for some reason is just not available in my area anymore?
Let me emphasize again, I have no technical issues watching videos from youtube or any other web site. This seems to be specific to videos on this website. Also, I am experiencing the same hang up issues while trying to watch the video lessons on my tablet.

Please advise.

regards,

Same here. There are way to many hang ups and some videos are nearly unwatchable. I have no problem with other streams and my connections are good.

Please advise

Jerry

Same issue here. Work fine in the small window, but when full screen it's impossible to watch. New player / Old player / High Res / Low Res, makes no difference. It's getting hard to work with and making me reluctant to use the site and practice.

All other streaming sites work fine, so let's get this fixed guys!

I fixed most of the video glitches by adjusting the ATT wireless router firewall Advanced Settings. The two features that were causing video issues were Excessive Session Detection and Packet Flooding. I unchecked both leaving the router less secure but the video problems are solved for the most part.

Also, cookies and browser plugins screw up and slow down the browser video. Use one browser with only the plugin you need for lessons and set it to delete cookies when closed. Open a new browser whenever do guitar lessons to get the best quality.
