Hello all. I hope this post finds everyone in a wonderful Christmas spirit. I'm still very much "new" to the wonderful world of playing guitar. I am trying to achieve a clean sound from my Fender mustang 1 v2. My guitar is a 2014 SG special. What preset should I be using to get the clean sound I'm looking for? Also, is their a pedal that I can purchase to change the settings with my foot instead of having to get up and change it by hand? I really appreciate the help that I have been receiving from all of you. I know some things I ask might sound crazy but I'm just trying to understand every aspect of this wonderful art form. Thanks again and God Bless.

That was my first amp. And yes, you can buy a footswitch to change between two of the presets.

As far as the clean setting goes, i think the 57 Deluxe is a good one to start with. But what you should do is go up to where the light is green and that's where you can save your own preset on any of them. You have to adjust each knob to where you want it, and turn the effect knobs up and then all the way down. I don't know if you've seen this yet:

Love that amp. That was my first amp (and still us)

Best part about it is if you are new and not sure how to build a tone....you can download presets that others have created. You will need to fuse software.

* Download Fender Fuse software from here: https://fuse.fender.com/

* Hook up amp via usb to your computer

* Download presets from here: https://fuse.fender.com/mustang/presets/?q=clean&genre=&sort=rating&limit=100
(You can access these while in the amp also visa community link at bottom of fuse software.)

* Open preset in fuse

All the presets will save on the fuse software. It works great
