any ideas for ABB sound

I Just bought a Les Paul and have crossed over from the Fender side of things for first time. I have a Blues Jr. Fender amp, and trying to get a Allman brothers style sound going. I have a Kustom 72 coupe amp as well though it sounds nicer it is 72 watts and not the 15 like the blues Jr.

I can keep the volume down and the strats/teles sound real nice. Anybody have any take on the Les Paul and achieving the Allman brothers/government mule sound??
