This song started out as a an exercise, but somebody decided to add vocals and leave space for a solo. So here's my contribution.
The interesting part of this was keeping my solo brief. Rather than having minutes to develop ideas, I have seconds to say what I want to say and get out.

Somebody laid down all of the rhythm, bass, drums, and vocal tracks. All I did was record the solo :-). The solo comes in at 1:10.
It was a really fun exercise in adding something short, sweet, creative, and interesting to an existing song.
I'll pass along the kind words about the rhythm guitar parts. I agree, it's really kickin'!!

I was talking about the whole tune as a whole.
Ilike how you jumped in there with your solo sounded good. Nice choose of notes.
Sometimes as you know it less can be more :-)

Oh, OK. Thanks!!! I just wanted to be clear so people don't think I did the whole shebang!
For now, less has to be more...though my speed is coming along. I've had a few runs sneak out of my hands that I thought "whoa, what was that!?!?". Those are good moments!

Great job man. What you played fits with the song perfectly. And I love that guitar as well. I don't like to play Gibsons because of the fret size, but I love their look. Probably still the best looking guitar out there. :)

Thanks man!!
I forgot I put a picture of me playing my LP...when people comment I immediately wonder how they know what guitar I used...it isn't a video :-).
I'm still discovering the tone this monster can put out!! I like the way it looks too...I was glad I got something other than sunburst, which everybody has. This one is honeyburst.
Cheers!

Love Buckethead.
My ideal guitar is the opposite - a black Les Paul. They are classy and bad ass looking at the same time.

I had a black Les Paul! it was the Studio though (2014). Great guitar, but I had to trade it in after I found out I don't like Les Paul fretboards lol
