Looking for a good Boss ME-8 effect

Hi i have for a while a Boss ME-8 multieffect and as long as i tried to find a good distortion i haven't.. dou you know any one.. taht could sound like a DT's Petrucci sound??

By the way i also have a Zoom 505 if you want to share any tip..


I've made some cool sound in my ME-8 like sampling machin or thecno if you like i can share them

He uses Mesa Boogies. The main components of that sound seem to be thick compression, OD (not distortion), and stong midrange with reduced highs.
I read a long time ago that he uses 26ms delay, and a room reverb for rhythm. And 460ms delay with hall reverb for leads.
He also uses his neck pickup a lot for solos, and a bridge humbucker on crunchy rhythm is a must.:)
