I started the core course with christopher Schlegel and i am presently struggling with my strumming technique.
I personally classify it as a heavy attack strum, if i try to go easy to get a more brushing strum i miss the strings at least 90% of the times.
Help

Try to make a conscious effort to be lighter with your strumming. You want the pick to glide over the strings. Don't dig in too far. Keep your arm, hands & fingers free of tension. The longer you work with your picking lightly, gradually it will become automated. But the more you practice at it without using a lighter touch the more you are simply training your brain & hands to play too heavily.

Best of success with it! Ask more if necessary.

Thanks for the responce.
What i usually do am not sure if its a bad practise is angel the guitar towards me a bit so i would be able to see the strings and fretting notes better. Do you think its possible that having the guitar at an angle while sitting and strumming straight is actually causing the problem with the angel of strings vs angel of strum.
