1 String Buzzing ??

Changed my strings on a new guitar for the first time. All seemed to go well except afterwards when I played for the first time - my "D" string is buzzing. The string seems to be seated in the bridge and saddle ?? Any ideas on what the problem could be and how to correct it ?
