I have hacked around on guitars for years learning to kind of play parts of songs, but never really getting good at any of them. I have decided that now is the time to be a beginner and truly learn to play. At my age (56) I am not trying to be a rock star, I just want to play for my own enjoyment.

Making music is always just for the fun of it, anything else that might spring out of it, is just bonus.

Let it take you where it will and don't let age be your excuse for any thing.

Welcome to GT!

Hi jrollo,

I agree with Ben!
We've got a great list of song lessons now, I'm sure you can find a lot of missing/unlearned jems in there!
