Hi all, I'm new to Guitar Tricks, and I wanted to post a little tab for everyone (with out sound) and I cant figure out how to do it. I click on contribute file without sounds but it just takes me back to the home page. Maybe I'm just a moron (which is very likely lol) but I can't get it. Any bit of help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome, I am not sure why that is happening. I had no trouble going straight to the contribute without sound page.
The web address that shows up is http://www.guitartricks.com/2000/maketrick.php if that is any help.

I know I'm double posting but sue me for having an after-thought. I seriously doubt you are a moron. For one thing your spelling is flawless. Second you didn't start out by bashing new bands, old bands, etc. Maybe you're having a bad computer day. Anyway once again welcome...;)

hehehe, I think any day for me is a bad computer day. Thank you for the welcome btw. Let me introduce myself, I am 20 years old, female, live in Alberta Canada, and have been playing guitar for about 3 years. My baby right now is my black B.C Rich Warlock.

Anywho, glad to be a member of the site, its amazing! Thanks again for the welcome, I'll try contributing a little later on if my computer feels like letting me.

Whoa! That guitar is certainly an eye-catcher. I have absolutely no experience with any of the BC Rich guitars. So they have a good sound? Do they set up easy? I play an old Epiphone genesis that I've had for about 20 years. 22 fretter with a double cut-a-way and heavier than some Paul's. It has great tone and feels like an old friend. Would love to one day get an SG but could never part with my Epi.
There are a few folks from Canada that are members here. This is a good site. Lot of helpful folks and it tends to get a little hilarious at times. :p

Its a great little guitar, if one could call it little. My all time dream is still a Gibson Les Paul, preferably from the 60's. A friend of mine had one a few years back, mint condition, with a fender amp, all classics, she got em from a relative or something, anyways, she played for a month and realized she wasnt Jimi Hendrix and gave up. She ended up selling the guitar to a guy she knew, $100 for the guitar, $50 for the amp. Now maybe the girl just did a bit too much wacky tabaccy, but when I found out what she did I damn near died. I bet the guy is probably still laughing. :|

Oh I could have done without hearing that. The old vintage guitar for a song story. On the flip side I used to know a guy that had a '58 gold top Paul. Probably one of the most "butt-ugly" paint jobs in history, but geez did that thing ever have that honest to goodness Les Paul "punch. The newer ones have nothing that comes close to sounding like that. He wouldn't sell that baby for any amount of money, in fact, I doubt you would be able to pry it from his cold dead fingers.

I live in Calgary, but I have obviously been hangin' with the wrong people! :) Welcome to Guitartricks!

Your sign-off fits Big Sky country well. The Kaos Blues and Jazz Bistro is my preferred observatory.

I really wish that we lived in a time when your best quality was considered "standard." Sadly, those days are gone.

I all but refuse to look at new basses/guitars now.

I agree Rask...shame we live in the age of the assembly line guitar. Or for that matter just about everything for purchase nowadays just seems to lack in quality.

WELLCOME FIRE!!
You're right, this is an awesome site. The people who hang out here;I really love the fact that some are old enough to be my dad,and some are young enough to be my very little siblings, some even nephews.
And it never(usually)shows in what we write here.
I believe you will like it.
And I envy the fact that the first thing you post is a trick.Peole like that are good for the site, unlike some "senior members" like the one who posted the reply you're reading and all they do is post and post.....
I'm kidding.:)
