Does Anyone.....

Does anyone know a song called Beer Barrel Polka I guess it is, or know the tabs to the song, my dad wants to play it but cant find it there?

Also how do you feel about female players?

"Beer Barrel Polka" hahaha...never heard of it. As for female players, I have no problem with female players at all. I once met this girl who couldn't have been more than 16. She was playing Altitudes by Becker. I was very impressed. (I am not sexist, I was merely pointing out the fact that female guitar players can be just as skilled as any guy out there)

About female players.
Techniquewise:anyone male or female can get good at whatever they choose to do,if they got what it takes,whatever that is.
Personally:I dunno why,but I'm drawn to female guitar players.Of course,being straight,and single,I'm drawn to women generally,but there's something about a girl/woman that plays guitar.If I saw a girl on the street with a guitar slung over her shoulders,there's a 90% probability I'll try to talk to her,even tho' I've never seen her before and don't know what kind of person she is....("she" could,for all I know,be a transvesite or transexual)but I'd still try anyway.They say the way to a man's heart is through the stomach,but with mine,that would be music.Unfortunately,if there's any chicks who know me who fancy me but don't know how to go about it,they'll never know this.Very sad.:)

I couldn't find a tab for it; looks like you'll have to buy some sheet music or figure it out by ear.

As for female guitarists, I don't put much thought into it. There are lots of great female musicians, but I'm more concerned with that they're good musicians than female. Gender is about the last thing I care about when it comes to music.

The only thing I found was the lyrics and the
melody (I think).
Maybe you can try finding out the chords yourself by listening to the midi-file available there.

Ok I think I may have found the chords.
Just read them left to right, and when there's a
stroke ( - ) instead of a chord, just keep playing the chord that youre already playing.

When it comes to female guitarists, I think we need more of them.
However I dont know how I would react if I saw a girl
really pumpin' the guitar and shredding like hell.
I think it would feel kinda strange.
Not in a negative way, its just that its so extremely rare that many people (including me) would find it somewhat strange.
NO! I change my mind. It wouldnt be. It would just be really cool when I think about it.
I think I've seen like 2 female guitarists in my life.
I have never seen anyone playing metal-ish songs.
That would be different, really nice.

to honest, I'm more bothered if they're left handed.

I used to think Charo was a no talent #$#$#$# until one night I was surfing the channels and came upon this gal playing flamenco guitar. Girl was smoking. I mean playing the hell out of it. I kept thinking she looked like Charo but wasn't sure til she finished the piece and stood up. Needless to say my impression of her has been drastically altered. And let's not forget Bonnie Raite (not sure how that last name is spelled). If you've ever seen her just cut loose and play, You know what I'm talking about. I am impressed with anyone who can make a guitar sing whether they are male, female, black, green, selling albums or selling cheeseburgers.
