Guitar99 is a new guy
Greetings all. I very much enjoy the conversations on the site. I'm primarily a songwriter anymore (yes I am published) and was once a pro musician before really getting bummed with the scene. I mostly produce small demos to be pushed but have worked on several large projects (not major label but well known acts which for the sake of anonymity will remain unnamed). I have several guitars but normally rely on amp sims anymore because I'm too darn lazy to carry an amp! I look forward to chatting with some of you.

I get the feeling a guy who doesn't specifically play guitar would bring a whiff of fresh air to a guitar players forum.I'm not saying anything about the guys here,just saying this is a nice change.

My first instrument is the piano, and the tunes I write on the piano are totally different, try it once!

welcome 99...my first instrument was the piano as well, and it really helped with the guitar, because I already had a jump start on music theory and ear training and such...only problem with a piano is you cant pack it up in a case and bring it to a friends house to jam.
