Bought this guitar on line and was told prior to sale it was manufactured in Sweden see I have a problems with china made anything being the patriotic American Veteran tht I am. When i got it on the back was made in china. I called MF and let them know I didnt appreciate being mislead on manufaturing origin as this was a big determining factor on my pruchase. so I can return it which they're real good with but I gotta say, I freekin' like it, alot. I am on the fence. Reviews and opinions really will help me to either stick it back in box or keep it. Help me by opinionating me.

Hagstroms started in Sweden, closed and are now made in China on CNC's.
Back in 1976 in bought a 1973 Swede hand made in Sweden. Love it still have it, just wore it out. So I bought a Hagstrom HJ500 to repalce it.

Love it also plays like a dream, but I just couldn't get the sounds from it I could the old Swede. So I bought a new China made swede. It plays/sounds the same.

Now that you've experienced the feel and the tones of the Hag you may as well keep it or go back one day and buy another. I've gotten to play a number of different guitars over the years, but Hags are all I buy.

Vicking are execlent guitars and can play almost any style of music.
