Howdy folks. So my girlfriend and I are of thinking of getting 2 classical guitars on Boxing day ( Dec 26th big sales etc etc) Were not looking to spend a lot (200$ each)
so we were wondering what guitar brands would be good to look out for .
Also do classical guitars require a setup as well as acoustic ?

My girlfriend is also considering signing up for guitar tricks ( hopeing they'll offer aanother 99$ special promo for a year subscription)

This is the store we go to buy most of music stuff .

So suggestions and thanks :)

The best advice:
Try many guitars at many stores. You are starting a new relationship, relationships normally work out best if everything feels right from the get go.

You will be spending lots of time with it, pooring your emotions into it, don't buy it if it does not feel right or you may walk a way from it like a bad relationship.

When it comes to classical guitars, you get what you pay for. I have a $1300 flamenco guitar and that is just slightly above average. Quality in those types of guitars costs money. No real way around it. In your price range just pick whatever FEELS most comfortable to play. Obviously make sure it sounds good to you as well. Play as many different types as you can in that price range. You'll notice there is a wide range in sound differences.

Just don't get discouraged when you play along with CD's or same music and you notice it doesn't sound as good. There will be a big difference in the quality of a professionals guitar and yours. Not to mention all the tiny details about how they play and especially their fingernails.
