Post and comment on each others' LOGOS!
I've been working on a logo for my band. It's still a work in progress but I'm really starting to like it now. I hope anyone else who has a logo will post it here. It could be fun!

I know a guy named Zoltan and this is the kind of image I would image his name in. Whenever I hear his name I think: "ZOL-TAAN!"

Needs kerning. That is to say, the spacing between characters. I tightened them up for an example (linked). Sometimes you have to manually move the letter to get rid of the odd gaps in the typography. The font won't always space it right for you. Ok on a word doc but in logos, good to fix it up.
As for the logo, I don't want to seem too critical; it's decent but kind of falls in to the standard fantasy/metal logos. My 'in a previous life' experience, I've seen quite a lot of them. It's well done and projects what it needs but does not differentiate you from others of the same genre.

THANK YOU, Jeff. You're feedback is invaluable. I really like the version you made with the letters closer together. You're right about the logo currently being plain old fantasy. Another thing I wanted to add was some kind of silhouette to it. Since the music is half medieval fantasy and half futuristic fantasy (Or Sci-Fi, I guess), I definitely need to add a more futuristic component to it. Thanks again!
