Using IPad

Bought IRig for Ipad. Getting back into guitar after many years. Can't seem to keep my virtual amp on while listening to lessons. Thoughts?

I don't know about doing this on the iPad, but on a PC, you can't get an outside audio source and an internal audio source to play at the same time unless you get a "full duplex" audio card.

So it could be possible that iRig doesn't have the capability to do what you want.
