Today, exactly 20 years ago this morning, Randy Rhoads died in a plane crash in Florida. he hadn't he even hit his prime yet. it is a huge tragedy and s shame. he could have been the greatest. no matter what you think, you have to respect Rhoads and all he did for the guitar. It's impossible to say anything bad about him. It's a shame he had to die so young.
To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

Blasphamy!!!!....hehe J/K He was Ozzy Osbournes guitar player during his early solo years. He was unbeleivable...I remember getting the Randy Rhodes tribute album when I was 13...I think I shoplifted it from Jamesway...It changed my whole attitude about music.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

Black Sabbath was the best of the early Jam Bands. Check 'em out.

Randy is one of my favorite guitarists. He totally got me into heavy metal, what a sad day it is.

there's a Jackson signature model in some pawnshop in my town, and it's there for 400 bucks, and it seems people don't want to buy it, (they might fear hurting themselves)

I must admit... I pretty ignorant of the Randy Roads peroid in ozzy's career... I've heard the 4 or 5 major albums by black sabath... and his newer stuff with Zack... and Ironically, I've got his tribute to randy roahds on tape..
I've heard one or two things, which had some tapping in it... I dont really even remember how it went like...

Randy Rhaods was, in my opinion, the greatest heavy metal player ever to have walked this planet...he had a feeling for the muisic like no other guitarist, he could take songs like 'Children of the Grave' and 'Iron man' and bring them to life (quite frankly the original studio recordings of both those songs sucked...the sound quality was ****).

R.I.P Randy, you will always inspire my playing.

Ah, young master, you must learn to see through it. See the new dynamic changes, see the new possiblities.

Everything has it's place.

Except disco.

GOOD GOD people, stay on the subject.

Randy Rhoads' understanding of classical music and his implementation of it on the guitar was pretty much unprecedenting in the American metal scene when he did it in 1981.

Randy Rhoads was a true genius, and his death was, in my opinion, the greatest tragedy in the short history of metal.
