I guess the trick is to appreciate them while they're here; seems to work the other way most of the time.

Randy Rhoads was an unbelievable guitarist, which only makes you wonder what his life could have been like today. The great thing about this guy is that was never quite satisfied with his playing, he's was all about self improvement no matter how good he got. I love his style, simply there will never be another guitarist quite like him, with the same amount of discipline and enthusiasm.

Randy Rhoads is my favourite guitarist and influence.
Exept being a really devoted and fantastic guitarplayer,
he just seemed to be a really nice guy.
So maybe its true that the good guys dies first.
But I dont want to focus on the things he never got to do in life. I want to focus on all the good things he actually did. For those of you who havent heard him outside the Ozzy-band I recommend his earlier band
Quiet Riot. They sound a bit like Twisted Sister I think.
Anyway one of the best metal bands ever in my opinion.
Randy will keep rocking for a long long time even though he is not with us.

If you ever doubt how much Randy Roads was good, as a guitar player and a human being, just listen to Ozzy Osbourne talk about him.

You'll then realize how great that man was.

He changed the life of the Ozzman and a lot more along the way.

May his talent bring harmony to the great gig in the sky...
