The first lesson I looked at "Fur Elise". How about using an inlay dotted fretboard so it is easier to follow??

The video is only a guide to see the fingerings. If you follow along with the music at the bottom you will be able to play it.
So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?

Hi MrWhiskers,
Most people use the notation below the video, like hairbndrckr suggests. If you ever have a question about the lessons though and need help, just let us know!

If you are a beginner, then I encourage you start with the Guitar Fundamental courses:

Regarding Fur Elise, classical guitars (like the one I am using in my classical lessons) typically do not have fret dots. As the previous posters suggested, I encourage you to use the notation as the best way to visually orient yourself.
Hope this helps. :)
