Thumb Slapping

Hi, I just discovered Regi Wootens thumb slapping technique in his funk lessons. Just wondering if this will lead to callusing there, because i think i am almost at the point of bleeding, and i cant stop, it is so much fun. Any suggestions.

yup, you will get nice calluses after a few days of practice. so don't overdo it the first day :D

luckily it's nowhere near the blisters you get from starting to play slap bass!
