That is a link to what I think is some of my best original music. I want to try something here.. everyone listen to my mp3, and see if you can guess who some of my musical influences are. I'm wondering how much they show through my own work. After a few guesses I'll tell who's right and wrong.

Just listened, I have changed my mind, I'm thinking maybe paint thinner, glue and cough medicine, just pulling your leg, it sounds great, but I don't have a clue who your influences are and I think that is a good thing because when somebody hears your influences they will often tag you as a clone etc.. it sounds to me like you have absorbed your influences, keep it up!

that doesn't sound like korn...i think he actually used some skill :D

Let us all know if you ever make a song out of that and put it on an album...the more guitar music out there that has a chance of hitting the market the better.

I don't see how either could be confused for Korn.

I origionally meant atc, but I just listened to yours so I guess both. Classical music on guitar is always good.

oh, and just a guess, my brother says:

"Its a long shot but its very similar to the chord progression in a Less Than Jake intro. I don't remember the song, but I think its Last One Out Of Liberty City. Im probably wrong but its worth a guess."

(refering to atc)

My guess would be... the guy that Chuck Berry told to "Roll Over". Beethoven

I just checked back here, not many guesses really other than pink floyd.. and korn(what were you thinking).. anyways I guess the influnces don't show through too much, which is a good thing I guess.. it's original work so it SHOULD sound original right..

well in case you were wondering some of my influnces are metallica, joe satriani, rage against the machine, dream theater, megadeth, diamondhead, and phish... or course I like all music that has some skillfull guitar work in it, but those are some of my favs
