Best Shot woes...

Hi there. I'm new to the site, and working on Benetar's Best Shot. I'm having trouble getting the tone. I have the wrong equipment (Schecter and Marshall 2x12), but trying to compensate with my gear. Currently running: NoiseGate->Compression->Overdrive->EQ. Anyone already done this work? ;-) I realize I may simply have different gear, but if anyone can add or detract effects, that would be great.

the guitar in that song is not real high gain.mabey try a more classic rock tone.

I'm guessing since you need a noise gate , your playing very high gain or extremly loud ?
