This might be the silly-est question ever....but where is the battery located in the Fender strat??
The battery holder in my yamaha acoustic is right on the side. But I cant seem to find the battery in the strat....

Sorry if it is too stupid to ask :(

Is it a regular Fender Strat? If you don't have any active Pickups in that guitar (which is likely) then it just doesn't have a battery. =)

I have never heard of a battery being in a strat. The only reason you ever have a battery is for an active pickup, which "could" be in a strat I suppose but I have never seen one.

If you have some custom model than perhaps shine some light on the guitar, what model it is, and how it was obtained? These details will help in seeing if there is a battery in your guitar or not.

Happy Thanksgiving! :)

No battery in the Strat, Bro. The battery in your acoustic is for the EQ/Preamp (and tuner if there is one). The pick up itself does not require a battery. So, the Strat has no built in EQ, thus no battery requirement.
...so ever since then, I always hang on to the buckle.

Yup, guitars are in fact NOT battery powered. Only some pickups are
