Sweep picking

Can anyone tell me how to stop the strings from making noise when I'm sweep picking?

You need to make sure you mute the strings you are not playing with your picking hand. It is really difficult and takes A LOT of practice, so be patient and work up from a slow tempo.

I personally am not a sweep picker, I'm much more into rhythm so I can't help give you any tips, but.. Just wanted to dangle that carrot in front of you. :p
