ok--I am ready to buy some recording equipment as a practice aid. Perhaps someone can give me their experience in purchasing computer equipment : interface, software (like Band in a Box),self power speakers--or--is it better to go the hardware route such as recorder, drum & bass machine, mixer, etc?
