Buckethead is one weird dude. One of the greatest guitarists in the world and so freakin nuts! I personally think there has to be something wrong with him mentally. To keep up that stage appearance to the point that noone has seen his face for over 20 years is ridiculous. There is only 1 known picture of him with no mask.

Theres that picture of where he did an interview for a local paper when he was in his teens and they have a picture of his face.
Ever see this video? I watch it every once in awhile for a good laugh:

This song is from an album of his called "Colma." I really, really recommend that record and it also features drumming from Brain (Primus, Praxis, etc.) It is very, very chill and not his usual technical, chicken head prowess. But, I have listened to that album so much that I can't help but sneak some of those licks in solos and melodies I play all the time. "Electric Tears" is another album that is similar to "Colma." Also, Buckethead has an album called "Population Override" that is very jammy, and not so much the eccentric shred-zilla hub-bub. Peep both of those.

I love bucket head. I didn't know about him for a long time. It is crazy how prolific he really is. He has released 29 solo albums and performed on over 50 more. He has also made guest appearances on more than 40 different albums by various artists. His music spans such diverse areas as progressive metal, thrash metal, funk, electronica, jazz, bluegrass, and avant-garde music.
