What does everyone do for a job?

I do maintenance/general help at a fitness gym and get free membership to the gym. I love it here.

I am an ophthalmic Technician. I perform the external eye exam and refraction (check the eyes for the proper prescription) and all other diagnostic eye tests and photography. Also, I run my own small website design and hosting business.

Portfolio manager in a wealth management firm. My wife and I also have a commercial vineyard.

I didn't think I had enough to do, so I thought I would learn to play the guitar as well.

I used to be a computer programmer in my late teenage years and in my twenties, then I started studying for a law degree, but then I became ill and I couldn't continue; plus I wasn't exactly sure what I'd do with my law degree. Specialist in constitutional law? For the defense of the accused? Boring country solicitor stuff like litigation, wills and estates?

These days I telecommute, working from home, when I can get work. I only hope to do that until I can get some good simple songs out and make a living that way. I'm staring down years of practise I think...

I used to be a Biomedical Scientist as it's currently termed in the UK. Haematology & Blood Transfusion was my field. Worked 24/7 for pretty much all of my 36 year career and decided I'd had enough last year and took early retirement

I'm loving having time to do stuff I like. I'm playing guitar more than I ever did before and am making good progress which is great but even so I can't seem to fit in the hours that others on the site seem to!

Rock on

Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are. - John Wooden

Reputation is what other perceive you as being, and their opinion may be right or wrong. Character, however, is what you really are, and nobody truly knows that but you. But you are what matters most. - John Wooden
