Retired LAFD now living in West Texas and working as a service manager for a small civil engineering firm in oil and gas sector to keep me occupied from suffering from too much GAS (but it's not working) but I like what I do and the people I work with. And since this isn't LA, there is No Music Scene, No Guitar Stores, pretty much just a lot of money flowing, and I guess that's ok as well. But I do miss So Cal in early 80s.

Retired CPA from U.S. now living on an island in Mexico. Great to live on an island, but no music store. Luckily we now have Amazon Mexico and I can get what I need. Ironic that my Fender Player Stratocaster and Telecaster that are made in Mexico are considered an import (with import tax) because they ship from California!
