I'm an Associate Systems Manager for a large university. Part of that includes creating images and software packages to push to systems across the School of Medicine.
Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week.

From my profile:

"Senior EMC Technologist at a facility that assesses the emissions and immunity of electronic equipment, to see if it meets the requirements imposed by government bodies like the FCC, Industry Canada, ETSI, IEC, AusTel (now ACC), VICC, etc."

Basically, we listen to new products in a quiet environment to see if they make too much noise.

Then we put the sample in various hostile environments to see if they will continue to function normally under conditions that are likely to be encountered in the real world.

Yeah, I get to play with cool new stuff before it hits the market! :D

Playing guitar helped me learn bird songs--listening to birds helped me with guitar.

Hey! I'm a digital marketer. I work on creating and implementing online strategies to help businesses reach their target audience and achieve their goals. It's a dynamic field that involves everything from social media management, apps like (Dumpor Instagram) to SEO and content creation. How about you? What do you do for work?

Retired LAFD now living in West Texas and working as a service manager for a small civil engineering firm in oil and gas sector to keep me occupied from suffering from too much GAS (but it's not working) but I like what I do and the people I work with. And since this isn't LA, there is No Music Scene, No Guitar Stores, pretty much just a lot of money flowing, and I guess that's ok as well. But I do miss So Cal in early 80s.

Retired CPA from U.S. now living on an island in Mexico.  Great to live on an island, but no music store.  Luckily we now have Amazon Mexico and I can get what I need.  Ironic that my Fender Player Stratocaster and Telecaster that are made in Mexico are considered an import (with import tax) because they ship from California!

Robotics Technician for the biggest steel company in the world, ArcelorMittal. I'm very grateful for the job.

In short, I setup/maintain/troubleshoot a big robot that processes steel tubes to be shipped off to both Amazon, and Chrysler.
