are you guys planning to make a tool that if you select a chord it will list the notes and show you where the notes are on the fretboard in multiple spots? and if you are can you also do that with you can choose a custom set of notes? thanks

Did you check out the chord finder tool?

That seems like what you are asking for?

Yes I checked it...I am talking about a tool where you select the chord and it lists the notes like lets say you choose an Am chord it would show you that the notes that make up the chord are A, C, and E. Then it will show a fretboard and every a c and e on it. And you could pick custom notes lets say you wanted a chord that is made up of g a and f you will click those notes on the fretboard and it will name it for you and then tell you where else you could find those notes on the fretboard

Interesting.

If you use the "variation" buttons on the chord finder it will show you other A minor chords. But not every conceivable version.

It doesn't allow you to input notes and have it give you back the chord name and show you shapes. That is an interesting idea. I hadn't even thought of that.
