I am new to GuitarTricks.com, like many others I found the site while looking for guitar lessons. I am so glad I did, the site is very thorough. I am a complete novice. I bought my first guitar (a Ibanez acoustic/electric) in order to find a way to relax and unwind. I had told myself that I had to practice "at least" 30 minutes everyday but it ends up being more like two hours! My main interest is learning to play blues then rock and everything else I can soak up. Making beautiful sounds with an intrument has always captivated me and now its my turn. So this is my first post and my first contest entry. Thanks again GuitarTricks

I believe "cooler than hell" is the way Ray Wyle Hubbard describes a telecaster in one of his latest hits. I don't own a Fender Telecaster but I sure would like to give it a whirl. Sign me up!

I had a Tele way back in 1968, but at that time I was always trading and changing, so I had it only for about a year. I have been looking at Teles recently for a few years, but for one reason or another, I still don't have one. I want it!!!

I normally use a takamine because of the alternative styles of play. I agree with the description on the length of the neck of the telecaster it does make a difference. I find many prefer a fender over a gibson, one of them myself. This contest piqued my interest of again owning a fender. So I'm entering contest. Good luck to all and yes a telecaster is sweet , not sure as to a standard telecaster but should have some good capabilities.

I've always thought of these in terms of country western players, but I can see where it could be handy for the blues as well....thats what I'm really wanting to learn the most is the blues. I'd love to win this baby!

Ahh the Tele. I have been eye-f*&%ing this guitar for over a decade, but for some reason have never pulled the trigger.
I wanna say something. I'm gonna put it out there; if you like it, you can take it, if you don't, send it right back. I want to be on this guitar.
