I can hear the sweet twang now! Shades of Billy Squier, Keith Richards, and George Harrison! (and me?)

Several years ago I gave one very much like this to a blues playing friend of mine when he fell on hard times, so he would have an instrument to go on the road with. He has since become quite well known in the blues scene and has recorded several CD's. I always missed it, but it made me feel good to help him keep on playing. Hey maybe what they say about Karma and what goes around comes around is true. That would be way cool.
Cheers,
Cliff

I've always like the look of this guitar, but have never had the chance to make it sing. T'would be a dream come true. I like the red too.

I've always wanted a Telecaster since trying out a friend's. I've got a Strat copy wannabe, but it's too heavy and enjoy the Tele's retro look & feel much better anyway. :)

Just so happens I have one the same color. It's a custom shop Tele built in 2000. I don't know anything about how it works or why it sounds like it does, but I can tell you it plays, and sounds great. I like the neck a lot better than the Strats. Play it clean for country and the old Motown sound. Crank it with distortion and you are ready to rock. Great all round guitar.

I recently fulfilled my lifetime ambition and bought a Fender strat, I love it but I find myself hovering the cursor over "buy Now" buttons on Guitar shop sites, and it's always a tele! I still also want a Gibson SG as well

no fancy doodads, no batteries just solid tone. You can't go wrong with a Tele and it doesn't hurt to have several!
