Hello! I'm pretty much a noob about amps, because I don't have one at home!
The question is about amp settings, lets say when I raise high, low, or mid does that ad the volume too to the master volume or does it just change the setting?

There's always a certain amount of interaction among the controls. For instance, if you have Bass, Mid, and Treble controls, turning them all up full would be almost the same as leaving them all set 'flat' and just raising the Volume a bit.

It also depends on the design of the tone control circuits. Some have a true Boost/Cut function, while others just reduce (cut) the strength of the frequencies in their part of the spectrum.
