Even now, close to forty years later, Jimi Hendrix remains a pillar in the Pantheon of Rock and Roll. Jimi Hendrix somehow managed to tap into some otherworldly energy with his playing. For both the seasoned guitarist and the novice, Jimi Hendrix's music and his very life serves to inspire and to remind us of what can be accomplished with a true, singular passion infused with technical skill and an almost blatant disregard to so-called limits when we approach our art. His genius was taking something known and powerful and re-working it into something explosive and fresh.
