In reference to that "the solo is dead" thread in one of the other forums i´d like you to listen to the following tune

It´s a lil improvised solo/song that my guitarteacher Dieter Libuda (unknown dude unfortunately) recorded on one of his solo albums.

I personally think that he´s a great musician for he knows what a song needs - i always compare him with Jeff Beck, cuz he has such a unique tone and style - just like beck.

However - i´d like yer opinnions on that one (letz hope the download works)

Try using the second addy i posted.

Rightclick on the link and chose "save target as.."

This is the same song you showed me over Messenger. I like it. The tone on the lead guitar is awesome. And the fact that the whole thing was improvised is cool. I notice a lot of Vai'ish nuances in his playing too.

Are you sure this isn't off the soundtrack to one of those cheesy 80's action movies? It kinda sounds like what would be playing during the mandatory love scene.

Just kidding. LOL.
