What should be the lesson order?
Should I start with scales first, then chords second? Basically, what is a good lesson progression for learning?

Xai,
I would really start right at the beginning of this series, spending as little or as much time needed to get to the lessons on full chords in the Level 1 lessons and then work straight through the level two stuff.

I encourage you to take these two sets as two units to be completed in order.
If you already have some skills you will be finished with the first level in very little time.
Two tips:
1. get basic strumming and chord changes going early in your practice routine
2. Use the metronome.
Both of those will seem to slow folks down at first but in the course of two months they will actually accelerate your skill development, in my opinion.
Does that help?

Definitely go for a metronome. It seems like boring and tedious work at first, but it will help you a TON with your timing. Its really easy to fall into a bad habit of not learning to keep correct time or tempo, but a metronome will sort of train your ear/brain/hands to pick up on it fast. You'll sound a lot better if your in correct time too, so thats always a plus.
