I kinda don't get it.
Ya just fly round and look at buildings and nobody's ever there.

Sounds to me like you'd enjoy an Xbox 360 Kev. I'll make the answer plain and simple for you.

Hence why I no longer "waste my time" there. It was a good social networking thing at the time and like I said, I did make a decent amount of money from it.. not enough to live on but still.. it was essentially free money. Unless you had friends there it was pointless.. and if you wanted to do any serious development, it would cost you an arm and a leg.

i dont remeber if any one said this or not but the one the the ps3 has over the 360 is a web browser. so if you get a keyboard (you can use the controller but it takes a while) and use the controller as the mouse you can surf the web in you favorite recliner.

but i guess since you all ready got a ps3 it doesnt really matter.
They say the END is near, but I'm Tired of waiting.

My advice is, stick to the guitar. forget the console and buy a new guitar.

I've been trying the browser with YouTube. I don't think the system has enough ram though, cause it keeps freezing up and pages load slow as hell.

A friend of mine in Calgary keeps saying we can play it online... I don't know if you can though. I can't find any options for 2 players but it'd make the game more interesting.

Some Info for you Kevin:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Theft_Auto_IV#Multiplayer

Also:
"Multiplayer mode is accessed by pulling up your phone, choosing multiplayer, then choosing either a ranked or player (non-ranked) match. From there, you can pick the game type (they each have the same game types, except player match has the free roam option, which disables objectives and teams). You can also organize your friends into a party, in which you can mess around in free roam until the party leader chooses the game to join. (You'll return here between games as well.) "

I assume it works through a cable modem too?
Lots cheaper than a two hour phone call to Calgary :)

I don't even hardly use the phone anymore for long distance. I've been using ooVoo and video conferencing. Ya can leave it on all day and it doesn't cost a cent.

I think he means the phone that your character uses to make phone calls in the game.. not a real life phone lol.. I could be wrong though

Fat chicks don't need phones. Nobody ever calls them.
They just have to slap their flab and it creates low frequencies that only other fat people can hear. That's how they communicate.

Tell the truth, you're stuck under one now who's taken you hostage. "Playing from the couch" my butt.

I think we're both gonna get banned....

Can't we have an adults only area where we can just blather? There's no way parents can really can keep track of a kids surfing habits anyway. My kid was google master at the age of 6. Long as we don't get too profane or explicit. For example, I could say, since we're talking about fat chicks...take my wife, please! She's gained about 150 lbs since we separated. And she's Canadian! Just keep her stocked in tranks and alcohol and she'll sit there twiddling her thumbs. And you'll save money on food if you don't mind picking the crumbs out of the folds of her lard. There's always the risk of her killing you in your sleep, but life's full of risks.

Man, I'm gonna get so banned, or some feminist is gonna come in here and kick my butt....but I'm a paying member!

But back to gaming. I got GTA3 for the ps2 cuz I was never able to beat it on the computer. Now I have to learn the stinking controls....

Yeah, I totally agree. I really miss the days when you could say just about anything on this forum. Sometimes it would occasionally get a little out of hand, but for the most part we had some really interesting conversations delving into a lot of taboo subjects.
I have to bite my tongue every time I reply now because I know what I want to say, but have to censor myself just in case it offends somebody.

Good to see something continued on. It was definitely a shame to see the community we had going here basically dismantled in one fell swoop.

Anyways, I just signed up so I'll be checking it out.

I did sign up for the first forum called "Guitar Pub", a long time ago but only signed on a few times. I noticed that some of my words were being censored so I just stopped posting there.

Hopefully that's not the case with this new forum.
I'm not advocating the use of strong language or flame wars just for the sake of it, but it'd be nice to have a conversation online without having to worry about what words I'm not allowed to use.
