im sooo pissed of

i bough5t a ticket to see satriani play about 5 months ago on the 15th fo mayand was all excited. i even managed to get tickets for the front row.

today i founsd out somethin really anoyin. i hav an exam the mornin after the concert. and one on the day of the concert.

so my timetable would go lioke this finish semester on a friday on the followin thursday have an exam. go to see satch in the evenin then do an exam in the mornin.
problem is theres no wayi will have done enough work. i will need to revise the nite before. so now im gonna have to not go cos my degree is at stake. god thats anoyin. and i dont know how im gonna sell the ticket cos my friend bought it for me and somehow managed to get 10 pounds worth of bookin fee. so i stand to loose like 44 pounds. which is a fair bit of money if i dont get anythin in return. this sucks.


arg im soo anoyed.

ps if anyone is in manchester england on the 15th of may and wats to buy a ticket for the front row to see joe satriani pm me. please

I would take them if I could figure out how to get from Pittsburgh to Manchester... :rolleyes: Sorry about your bad luck though. As much as it stinks, sounds like you're making the right decision. You'll get another shot to see Satch.

if you still have the tickets id say keep them.

im more than sure if you use your time wisely between now and then, and read/do the the work you gotta do for it, youll be able to make it.

just work hard and keep your head up satch would be worth it.

Get Satch to sign your degree, man.

if you'd looked at the dates earlier in the semester, you could've told your professors you've got a sibling's wedding or something like that and they probably would've let you take them earlier.

another option is this. at my school, if you had more than 2 exams on a specific day, at least one of your professors would have to let you take it on another day. they never checked what else you had though. I always stacked my finals on the first two days so I could party and be a bum until I went home that weekend. just ask your professor for the thursday exam if you can take it earlier in the week. usually if you're straightforward and just ask, they'll work with you. most of them realize you've got a life outside school.

You might find that the release the concert provides will help you on your tests! :)

yeah really when you have a degree who cares how much tickets cost. :D

well i will dom my best to learn everythin in time. but i doubt i will be able to have done enough. i normally get things together the evenin before exams. but if the unlikely happens and i actually understand the course before the day before i might go. i guess we will see. good motivation to work hard.
