Yup, the band from Austrailia with some dirty songs. Anyone like them? What songs? Hate one of the singers? I hate the first, Dave Evans. Bon rocked, but he wouldnt be good sing some songs, & Brian is good with some songs. My top 3 are:

Back In black
Moneytalks
Big balls XD

"Highway to Hell" is their best album by far. But they're one of those bands I'm not really that into, probably because all their songs sound exactly the same. "Touch Too Much" is probably my favourite AC/DC song.

I was listening to to some of their songs on my MP3 player today, on my way here to work. I really love the pure, raw rock'n'roll energy that Brian brought to the line up, take Back in Black as a good example or even Highway to Hell. I also really love the cheekiness that Bon brought to the line up. There is something truly unique about the songs that Bon sang on. Take "The Jack" as a extremely good example of this.. not only are the lyrics risque but the way he sings them really makes them sound cheeky and naughty. It's very much an artform in and of itself.

I never even knew of the other singer.. Dave Evans.. but then I have never been a "fan" of any particular band to ever go into that much detail. I know what I like, and AC/DC in both stages of evolution are great. The first songbook I actually bought so I could play a riff was "The AC/DC Anthology". I bought it to learn the finger tapping riff at the start of Thunderstruck.. and to be honest I never really used it much after that, except may be for Angus Young part at the start of Back in Black.

Never been a huge fan. I've always felt they were a little overrated. I've got a couple of copies of their CD -- Back in Black and Dirty Deeds. I figure that gives me a copy of it with each singer. ;)

Three favs, I'd say:
Dirty Deeds
Hell's Bells
Highway to Hell or Have a Drink on Me, depending on my mood. I do love that opening lick of HaDoM.

Great band, Highway to Hell is the best album IMO - lots of cool rockin tracks and a nice raw sound but Angus is way over rated as a guitar player (he is good but contrary to numerous daft guitar magazine polls he is far from virtuoso or even worth considering in the top 100 players of all time). Great live act too though!

They have been extremely effective at what they do for 30 some odd years which is just straight up basic no frills blues based hard rock.Angus young was never a very polished player, but he has great feel and is extremely passionate with every note he plays. I think they are timeless and very enjoyable to listen to.Never the most creative or innovative band, but still produce some great music after all these years that gets your heart pumping.

For those about to rock! Fire! We salute you!

I can't wait for the new album, hopefully they're not doing it just to do it, but because they have great new material.

Being an Australian kid my self, i love AC/DC!
My favorite song would have to be 'Let there Be Rock'
or
'Can I sit next to you girl'
Both Bon Scott songs.

I would just like to point out that AC/DC has never had new material. Every album is exactly the same album.
