Amplitube vs Hendrix

Hi all,
Was about to invest some money in amplitube jimi hendrix software, but just before I did I realised that I could get Amplitube2 for the same price through an upgrade. Problem I have now is which is better, anyone got any ideas?

You can get hendrix type sounds from the regular amplitube, no need of the hendrix version for that. It's still cool, but not as versatile and unless you're only doing hendrix/SRV covers and stick to that sound only for your own stuff, the regular amplitube is a better choice.

I went with amplitube 2 in the end, and so far I`m very impressed. Only drawback I`ve found, is my total inability to stick with one setting for more than a song, they all sound so good! LOL!
And thanks elklandercc had tried a couple of nefarious versions before but never seemed to work quite right or just gave up and died in the end, and what with the upgarde discount I could get I figured it was worth it. Now if I could just get hold of the money for a stompio I`d be a happy, but tied to my pc, man!!!! :D
