Free Beer*

Hi All,

Looking for volunteers to contribute monthly articles for the newsletter. I have a couple of ideas for articles, but would like to hear your ideas as well. If any of you are interested, reply to this thread or send me a PM.

I would be interested in doing an article about how to play lead without the benefit of understanding theory - specifically for people who allready know the basics... kind of a 'Dummy's Guide to Shredding'.
I don't know if this is what you're looking for but I have a fair few tips and advice for those who can't get a handle on note names, keys, scale names, modes etc. Exercises for speed playing, sweep picking and how to actually construct a solo from the ground up.
Warning though, I'm no guitar instructor and certainly no Steve Vai!

Re the free beer, mine will be Spaten Octoberfest please :p

Hey Ren, just wondering how long should these articles be? I have loads of ideas - if people like the article and want more I can do it. Just not sure how much time/length to put into each one....
