They're both good guitars. But really you know, it's up to what you like. What you want it to sound like and the feel. Like my guitar, it's actually a pretty nice guitar, maybe not the best sound, but it's EXACTLY what I want. So you know, when getting guitars, I know like you want Les Pauls and SGs, but really what is good for you and know what is good are two different things. So you shoudl rly test em out first. With your own gear btw.

Think really long and hard (that's what she said) about why you want a double neck and exactly how much you'll play it. For how many songs do you really need both a 6 and 12 string? Also definitely go try one out before purchasing (make sure to play it standing up with a strap). I don't know how heavy the epi double neck is, but I played a carvin (i think) a few years ago and I thought my back was going to break.
